​In 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions athletes were unable to travel to interstate benchmark competitions.  Ice Skating worldwide was effected by the Covid Pandemic.  Here in Australia all rinks were shut down for various and extended periods of time.  Western Australia were quite privlaged to only have lost the use of Ice rink facilities for a short period of time.  WAISA was in a privlaged postions to be able to continue on from May 2020 with the ability to offer our local athlete's our regular competitions and test events, this was not the case in other states of Australia.  Many competitions accross the country were cancelled. 

ISA announced a National Online Benchmark event to give our nations athletes the ability to obtain a 2020 benchmark. WAISA had 7 athletes participate accross the following divisions
