Les Latham Artistic competition 2025

Named after a long standing and well-respected official, Mr Les Latham. The focus of this competition is on musicality, performance, and entertainment.   Open to all levels.

All skaters must be fully approved financial members of WAISA, and their membership must be valid during the competition period. 

*Please note if you wish to enter Les Latham you must have renewed your 2024 membership or submitted your new membership application prior Monday 17th February 2025 for approval by council.  All registrants must have their membership applications approved before opening of registrations.

There are 4 divisions available for an Artistic Competition. Our Novelty Divisions are for any combination of skaters and open test level.

• Singles – Athletes perform a solo program
• Novelty Pairs (Division 1) – This is where 2 athletes take to the ice to perform a program together
• Division 2 - This is from 3 athletes and anywhere up to 6 athletes take to the ice to perform a program together
• Division 3 – This is for 7 or more athletes to perform a program together.

*Please be sure that each individual member of your group for Division 1, 2 and 3 submits their own registration and payment fee.  If a member of your group misses registration, there will be no late entry option!

Entry Conditions. All entries must be completed in full through the registration process.

*LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Technical Requirements – Artistic – refer ISA By-Laws Section 9

Prep, Preliminary, Elementary, Basic Novice, Intermediate Novice and Intermediate Singles, Pre-Adult Copper, Bronze and Silver, Adult Copper, Bronze, Silver and Gold singles - Max 1 min 40 secs but may be less

Advanced Novice, Junior and Senior Singles, Adult Masters and Masters Elite singles, Novelty Pairs and Novelty Groups - Max 2min 10 Secs but may be less
